[SPRING 09 - “SITE-SITU”] BARRA DE NAVIDAD MEXICO An in- vestigation of the “non-site” and interrelations. 15 persons where stopped at the beach in Barra de Navidad, photographed with an item of choice from the site and interviewed. Diagram of interrelationships. Latitude, longitude, Barra de Navidad, Mexico at the top to the left - the home of residence of the interviewed persons expanding to the right. Natal relations between the persons who choose to participate , over lined by favourite colour. Oldest to the bottom left, youngest to the bot- tom right. The diagram is connected with singed polaroids and the polaroids with the items picked up by the interviewed persons. Everything was placed in a suitcase bought by us in a nearby shop - our item of choice. Our meeting with the persons where briefly noted on a sheet of paper and attached to the items of choice. An additional contextual sound record- ing was placed in the the briefcase allowing the beholder to hear and touch the place, and thereby establishing a interrelation to Barra, the beach and the interrogated persons.
